Beginning therapy for the first time or the twentieth can be difficult. It requires a certain vulnerability -- of allowing yourself to be seen and known by another. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, relationship problems, infertility, parenting issues, addiction, or other issues, our role is to create an atmosphere of welcome -- a safe space in which we can explore your hurts and fears as well as your hopes and dreams for the future.
Our approach to therapy is systemic and focuses on attachment, connection, and explorations of patterns and beliefs. We believe that attending to relationships is a key to improving mental health, to improving interactions with other people, and to addressing many individual problems with living. Tammy Churchill (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides therapy services to couples, families, and individuals. She is a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator. She has been trained as a mediator, is a Licensed Practical Nurse, and is a retired Licensed Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church. Her approach to therapy focuses on attachment, connection, and explorations of patterns and beliefs. She believes the way we interpret and interact with our world, and the people in it, is impacted by our earliest experiences and plays out in current relationships in both helpful and less than helpful ways. Tammy uses a holistic (mind-body-spirit) and collaborative approach to therapy. She has a passion for inspiring others to live a wholehearted life by increasing self-awareness, self compassion, and making meaningful connections. Tammy looks forward to walking the journey to your best self and your best relationships with you. Dave Churchill (he/him) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides therapy services to couples, families, and individuals. Dave's focus is relational, including couples counseling, family counseling, and working with individuals who are experiencing difficult life transitions. Additionally, Dave works with adolescents who are experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties, and he provides family reunification counseling. He is a state-rostered mediator and is trained in discernment counseling for couples on the brink of divorce. Asking for help can be difficult. You've come to the right place. We looks forward to helping you achieve your best self and your best relationships ... because you and your relationships matter. |
